Criminal Face Idnetification System

The Face Recognition System is applied to realize quick comparison of the acquired face images with the database of tens of millions of face images, and a list containing the highest match possibilities can be returned. Face acquisition and quality evaluation tools are provided in the system to enhance the performance of face searching. Both distributed edition and the stand-alone edition are available.

Distributed Edition

  Applied to the face comparison systems having a large data volume of up to several tens or even hundreds of millions of records, such as for public security or criminal investigation. Taking full advantage of the server cluster, higher enrollment speed and comparison efficiency can be thereby achieved so as to meet higher concurrency needs.

Stand-alone Edition

  Applied to the face comparison in 1 million or less data volume. It is installed on a currently mainstream computer or high configuration laptop.

  Product Features

    •Logic Sub-database

  Flexible and configurable sub-database is supported (e.g., resident population, temporary resident population, suspects database, etc.). An accurate face searching can be made with specified sub-database categories, such as one sub-DB, multiple sub-DB or the whole Database.

  •Face Searching

  All digital face image file types are supported as input for searching. Filtration conditions such as gender, age interval, and place of birth, etc. are user-defined. Returned matching result is a candidate list, ranked by similarity, the length of which is adjustable by specifying the maximum number of candidates and/or the similarity threshold.

  •Batch Data Processing

  Personal information and face images can be imported from all kinds of external databases in batch. Quality evaluation is conducted when importing the data to avoid the poor pictures.

  •Personal Information Management

  The imported personal information and face images can be edited, amended, increased or deleted. The personal information is user-defined.

  •Mobile client

  Remote face image submission for searching with mobile phone is supported, and the mobile phone system is required to be Android 4.0 or above.

  •Interactive Data Import

  Any digital face image can be imported. Functions of image display, quality evaluation, automatic eye location and manual eye marking are provided, and multiple pictures can be entered for single person.

  •Manual Authentication

  Searching result identification tools are provided for manual examination and verification of the candidate face images. The determined match result can be exported and printed.

  •System Management

  Comprehensive B/S structured management sub-system is provided for the convenience of remote configuration.

  Fields of Applications

This system is mainly applied for criminal investigation where image(s) of un-known suspect is used to search against the data base of known personal information records. It is also applicable for anti-terrorists, public security and social services, etc.
