Handheld Biometric Verification Devices

        This type of products can be used for public security, antiterrorists, social services, and many other scenarios where verification of the identity of a person is necessary. It is a handheld equipment based on Android platform integrated with functions to capture fingerprint image, face image, personal demographics, and to searching the captured information for possible match in its local data storage or remote data center.

        1:1 verification function can be realized by the comparison of fingerprint and face image captured with the biometric data read from the identity card chip, or with the specified record in the back-end Database.

        1:N offline identification function can be realized by the comparison between fingerprints and face captured by the device and the biometric database stored in the device. 1:N online search can also be supported by sending the captured biometric data to the back-end ABIS system via 3G/4G network or WIFI, and then receive the matching result from back-end system.

Product Functions

 • Fingerprint capture

Flat single, flat dual or single rolled fingerprint image can be captured, according to the actual model that used

 • Face image capture

Frontal face image is captured with the built-in camera

 • NFC support (Optional)

Personal information written in a contactless card can be read with the built-in NFC reader. The information can be demographic text, face image, fingerprint feature file, or just a personal ID number.

 • ID card verification

The captured fingerprint or face image can be matched with the data read from the NFC card to verify that the person is holding his/her own card.

 • ID number verification

The captured fingerprint or face image can be matched against the data retrieved from back end Database corresponding to the ID number read from the card or input into the device. This is to verify that the ID number read from the card or declared by the person of the person is true and 

 • Local or in device identification

The captured fingerprint or face image can be matched with the fingerprint and/or face image data stored in the device as a black list of those wanted by the police.

 • Remote or online identification

The captured fingerprint or face image can be submitted to the backed central ABIS for identification and the matching result is returned to the device.

 •  GPS support

With GPS support, current location could be obtained and saved together with other related information, which is especially important with a location based service system.

 •  Wireless communication capabilities

Support 4G/3G and WIFI capabilities. This is used for remote or online service transactions.
